Demola Slovenia
Demola encourages collaboration and co-creation between students, enterprises and institutes of higher education.
The cooperation mechanism is based on the idea that companies prepare development challenges to which interdisciplinary project groups of students are then assigned. The latter develop solutions under the guidance of mentors from institutes of higher education and from companies. Subsequently, students present their solutions to companies, which may then decide to use the solution in their production and business processes. Some of the high-quality solutions, which have been developed in recent years within Demola, have actually been used by companies in their processes.
Demola is an international joint project between universities and the private sector, in which partners from several EU countries are participating. Demola Slovenia is managed by the organisation RA:ZUM. The University of Maribor and the University of Ljubljana as participating as partners.
